I have been at the race track and involved in racing since the age of
twelve. My first job at the race track was washing cars and cleaning the
quickly made racing “My First Love”.
I have been involved in amateur racing since 1982 where I started out in
Formula Fords and the Jim Russell series. Since then, I have raced on
an amateur level and professionally in most types and classes of road
racing and amateur drag racing.
I have had the opportunity and pleasure to drive for the factory
Mitsubishi team. Additionally, I was involved in testing race tires for Toyo
Tires. I have had the opportunity to use and hone many of the skills and
knowledge that I acquired at this time and throughout my racing career in
my current profession as a Forensic Automotive Consultant and Expert
Witness.
I have held SCCA Club Racing track records at Laguna Seca, Sears
Point, Riverside, Willow Springs, Portland, Buttonwillow, Phoenix, Road
America and Thunderhill. Some of these records still stand today.
My accomplishments include the 2005 Honda Cup Championship, the
2004 USTCC Championship (with my son Jeff), the 2003 USTCC
Championship, and top three finishes in NASA Honda Challenge,
Goodguys drag racing and the NASA's Pro Compact class.
I have been married to Robyn since February of 2003. I have two grown
children, Jeff and Lee, and I have two grandchildren, Jacob & Gabrielle.
I reside in Benica, California
