I began my racing career in 2004 with the National Auto Sport Association,
competing in the Honda Challenge Series. I competed in a ’89 Honda Civic
Standard and went on to become the 2004 and 2005 Midwest Honda
Challenge H5 Series Champion. In 2006 I made the jump up to the H4
class where I competed in a ’90 Civic Si until its untimely demise in August
at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Since then I have campaigned two (2)
Honda CRX Si’s, and started Myers Motorsports in 2007 to help other
drivers reach their racing goals. Myers Motorsports specializes in race car
rental, preparation and track side support.
In 2005 I took over as Series Director for the Midwest Honda Challenge and
am still active in those duties today. The Midwest Honda Challenge Series
features the marquee events from both the Ohio/Indiana and Midwest
Regions of NASA and visits such great tracks as Mid Ohio Sports Car
Course, Road America, Putnam Park Road Course, Grattan Raceway, and
Autobahn Country Club. New for 2008 is a trip to Gateway International
Raceway.
I began crewing in the KONI Challenge Series for Team Cobalt California in
2005 as a fueler and assistant mechanic. New for 2008, I have taken on
the role as Team Manager and Assistant Crew Chief to go along with my
fueling duties. My specialties include data collection, chassis setup and
driver/mechanic communications.
I am currently employed by Custom Air Conditioning, a large HVAC
contractor in Columbus, Ohio, where I am a lead foreman and commercial
installer. I have been employed by Custom Air Conditioning full time since
August of 1996 and have help such positions as Project Manager, Sales
Assistant and Commercial Installer.
I have been married to my wife, Amie, since 2001. We have 2 wonderful
daughters, Hunter (4) and Morgan (1).
When I’m not working (either on the car or for Custom Air) you can usually
find me spending time with my family and also helping out in my parent’s
food trailer, RoadHunter’s Café.
Birthdate: January 20th.
