To become successful in sports car racing a driver needs to posses and constantly evolve numerous
attributes. As both a racecar driver and person, James Hunt embodies the necessary attributes for
success. He is talented, competitive, smooth, has an exciting ability to pass and bases his actions on
knowledge. On a personal level his is affable, polite, well spoken and clean cut. These attributes not only
enable James to continue perfecting the art of racing both on and off the track, but they also allow him to
act as a strong representative of his business partners and their products.
James has been surrounded by cars and racing since birth. He is no stranger to competition at the highest
levels and understands the preparation needed to win championships. His racing career began at the age
of 14 with Downhill Mountain Bikes, that yielded 2 National Championships in the National Off Road Biking
Association. The move to cars came at 16, at which point James began intense driver training. This
training quickly grew into competitive racing and instructing.

• SCCA- 12 Hour Endurance Race at Summit Point Raceway: 5th place
• Jim Hall 2 Day Kart Racing School Graduate
2006
• SCCA- ITA: 3rd place
• SCCA- 13 Hour Endurance Race at Virginia International Raceway: 1st place in first endurance race
2004
• NASA- East Coast Honda Challenge, H4: 2nd Place in first race, 5th place in second race
• NASA- East Coast Honda Challenge, H4: 5th Place and 7th Place
